Ila Stow comes from a cycling-mad family. Her stepfather is a Master's DH World Champion, and her mom represented South Africa in downhill racing. But it wasn’t until her 20s that Ila began riding seriously, encouraged by her husband and MTB coach, Darryn Stow.

Caroline founded Matsimela Ladies Clinics, a community-focused initiative that introduces African women to cycling through skills sessions, training, and mentorship. Since 2020, her clinics have grown to include over 180 women.

KAYLEIGH TUCK-BEERS

Bikes weren’t her first passion, surfing was, but when Kayleigh stepped into the saddle, she discovered a whole new adventure. Introduced to cycling by her professional cyclist husband, Matt Beers, she quickly fell in love with the thrill of flying down trails and the calm of smooth gravel roads. She’s taken on a few races along the way and has even earned some podiums at gravel events.
