Liv Factory Racing athlete Tyler Jacobs secures bronze in the U23 Women’s Cross-Country Short Track (XCC) at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Zermatt, Switzerland, on September 9th. Racing on her Pique Advanced 29, she finished with a time of 20:18.

The eight-lap, 1.3km circuit at the foothills of the Matterhorn consists of technical, steep climbs and quick recovery sections. Jacobs got off to a strong start, moving wide off the line to position herself in the front group, and rode a steady race that secured her podium finish.

Reflecting on the result, Jacobs shared: “The course really suited me, it was punchy with lots of area to recover that I made the most of. I really liked the course. I told myself I was capable, and I believe it. And I’m very happy with the result.”

This result adds valuable points to her overall season ranking, building on a year that has already included several highlights, such as her double national championship title in South Africa.
